Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A curvilinear earthwork ditch, up to 6 metres wide, is visible on images derived from Lidar data captured in 2005. It is very broad and shallow, and is not clearly visible on the available aerial photographs. However it fits into the surrounding field pattern and manifests in the same way as former field boundaries in this area that are depicted on the Tithe map. It is therefore interpreted as having formed over the remains of a field boundary of medieval or post-medieval origin, removed before the mid nineteenth century. It is very likely that earthwork remains survive.
