Orchard banks of probable post-medieval to modern date are visible as a series of linear earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, at Higher Bagmore. The site of the orchard is listed as such on the Bradninch parish tithe apportionment of approximately 1838-48, although by 1947, aerial photographs show that the orchard trees have been largely grubbed out, leaving a series of parallel east to west aligned earthwork banks, on which the fruit trees were established, visible. The surviving banks occupy a small irregular shaped plot and cover an area of approximately 0.19 hectares of gentle northeast facing slope. The orchard banks remain visible as a series of earthworks on aerial photographs up until 1989, although have been completely levelled and the site landscaped for a tennis court on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2002.
