Linear earthwork ridges, up to 3 metres wide, are visible in two land parcels east of Northcott on aerial photographs taken between 1946 and 2006. The areas are symbolised as orchard on late-19th century mapping and the features are interpreted as ridges for tree planting, created during the post-medieval to modern period. The group of banks centred at ST0965212602 appear to have been levelled but some fragmentary low earthworks may survive at ST0947912589, visible as pale cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 2006.
Further areas of possible ridges aligned east to west are visible in the parcels centred on ST0986512670 (numbered 251 and 274 on the First Edition OS map), but were not clear enough to transcribe due to tree cover. No traces of earthworks are visible on the more recent aerial photographs.
