The former quarry is visible as a slight earthwork pit.

A quarry of probable post-medieval to modern date is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards, to southeast of Colebrook. The pit is sub-circular in shape, measures approximately 33m in diameter and is situated in an area characterised by similar such features. The quarry pit remains visible as a slight earthwork pit on digital images derived from Lidar data captured between 2005 and 2010.
