Orchard banks of probable post-medieval to modern date are visible as a series of linear earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, at Oak Tree House. The site of the orchard is first listed as such on the Cullompton parish tithe apportionment of approximately 1838-48, although by 1947, aerial photographs show that the orchard trees have been partly grubbed out, leaving a series of parallel northwest to southeast aligned earthwork banks, on which the fruit trees were established, visible. These surviving, rather fragmented banks occupy an area of approximately 0.16 hectares of fairly level land, within a single rectilinear plot to the northwest of Oak Tree House. The orchard banks remain faintly visible as a series of earthwork banks on digital images derived from Lidar data collected between 2005-2010.
