Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A possible former field boundary of potential medieval date is visible as an earthwork bank on aerial photographs of 1967, to the northwest of Padbrook Hill Barns. The linear northeast to southwest aligned earthwork bank generally respects the historic field patterns and may have formed part of a medieval field system, although appears to have fallen out of use by the time of the parish tithe map. The former boundary was only clearly visible on aerial photographs of 1967, although has almost certainly been completely levelled by 1999, by which time the surrounding area has been heavily landscaped and developed into Padbrook Park Golf Centre.
