The remains of orchard banks of probable post-medieval date were visible as earthwork banks to the south and west of Legars Upton on aerial photographs of the 1940s onwards and lidar data acquired in 2005 and 2010. The visible earthworks fell within the area of an orchard circa 0.9 hectares in area, as depicted on the Ordnance Survey first edition 25inch map. Most of the tree planting had been removed by 1946, partially revealing the underlying earthwork banks. Digital images derived from lidar data and aerial photographs taken in 2005 and 2010 reveal a significant number of the tree planting banks survive as earthworks over circa 0.5 hectares of the plot, although those to the south east of the orchard visible on the 1946 images have possibly been levelled.
