The remains of earthwork banks were visible on digital images derived from lidar data acquired in 2005 and 2010, to the immediate north-east of Legars Upton.
The visible earthworks fall within the central area of an orchard depicted on the Ordnance Survey first edition 25inch map and are probably the remains of orchard tree planting banks of probable post-medieval date. The former orchard earthworks to the north-east and south-west have probably been levelled following reorganisation of the surrounding field boundaries and changes in land use.
