The earthwork does not correspond with any features depicted on the Tithe Map.

A former field boundary probable of post-medieval date was visible as an earthwork ditch on aerial photographs of the 1960s and digital images derived from lidar captured in 2005 and 2010, to the east of Woodhayes House. The earthwork does not correspond with any features depicted on the Tithe Map for Clyst Hidon and the boundary had probably therefore been removed prior to the 1840s.
