Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

Curvilinear field boundaries of probable medieval to post-medieval date were visible as earthwork banks and ditches to the north-west of Greenend Farm. The majority of the visible earthworks correspond to boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map for Plymtree but not on the Ordnance Survey first edition 25inch map. This might support the interpretation that most passed out of use between the 1840s and 1880s. The northernmost curvilinear boundary is not depicted on the Tithe Map and was therefore probably removed prior to circa 1840.
