Linear earthwork banks aligned approximately south-west to north-east and circa 4 metres in width are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 2005 and 2010. The visible earthworks cover approximately half of this field depicted as orchard on the late 19th century map, but may have originally extended across the entire field. The earthworks are interpreted as banks for fruit tree planting, and are likely to be post-medieval or modern in date. They are likely to survive.
