A possible sub-rectangular enclosure of later prehistoric date is visible as a partial D-shaped cropmark of a ditch on a west-facing slope north-west of Westcott Farm overlooking the River Culm. The visible cropmarks define the north-eastern and south-eastern sides of an enclosure a minimum of 35 metres across. The western edge of the possible enclosure cannot be defined as cropmark and might be obscured by cropmarks of natural or geological origin. The possible enclosure is one of several forming a wider complex of possible later prehistoric settlement overlooking the River Culm south of Cullompton
