A curvilinear earthwork ditch, up to circa 4 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 onwards. It is oriented roughly north to south and approximately parallel to field boundaries of medieval character. Although no field boundary is depicted in this location on the Tithe Map, boundaries are show on the same alignment on the north and south. The ditch is therefore tentatively interpreted as the remains of a removed medieval or post-medieval field boundary. Earthwork remains are likely to survive.
