Parallel curvilinear earthwork banks, approximately 4 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken between 1947 and 2010. Their alignment is roughly cross-contour and they are interpreted as banks for fruit tree planting, which are likely to be post-medieval or 19th century in date. This field was depicted as orchard on the Tithe Map, and its first use as an orchard therefore pre-dates the mid-19th century. The earthworks are likely to survive well.
