Parallel linear earthwork banks, 2 to 3 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 and on images derived from lidar data captured in 2010. Their alignment is roughly cross-contour and they are interpreted as banks for fruit tree planting, which are likely to be post-medieval or 19th century in date. This field was depicted as orchard on the late-19th century mapping. The earthworks are likely to survive well, as well as some of the trees.
