Parallel linear earthwork banks, 2 to 3 metres wide, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2010. Their alignment is roughly cross-contour and they are interpreted as banks for fruit tree planting, which are likely to be post-medieval or 19th century in date. This field was depicted as orchard on the late-19th century mapping, although the banks are only visible in the eastern part of the field. The earthworks, if not the trees visible on the 1947 aerial photographs, are likely to survive.
