Parallel linear earthwork banks, approximately 4 metres wide, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2010. Their alignment is roughly cross-contour and they are interpreted as banks for fruit tree planting, which are likely to be post-medieval or 19th century in date. This field was not depicted as orchard on the late-19th century mapping, suggesting that the earthworks could have been relict at this point. They are likely to survive.
