A dark circular cropmark is visible.

A dark circular cropmark, circa 20 metres in diameter, is visible on aerial photographs taken in summer 1989. Its size and location are consistent with an interpretation as a Bronze Age ring ditch which formed over a buried ditch around a former barrow. However, the feature does not form a complete visible circle, its width is variable between 3 and 5 metres, and as it is not visible on any other available aerial photographs interpretation is tentative.
