Three former field or property boundaries were visible on images derived from lidar as west to east orientated earthwork ditches approximately 4 metres in width. The earthwork ditches fell within the extant enclosure pattern to the west of Hen Street, which possibly represents a burgage plot of medieval origin. However, they did not correspond with any boundaries depicted on the Ordnance Survey first edition map of circa 1880 or the Tithe Map for Bradninch, which might support the interpretation that the boundaries had passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
