One of a pair of round barrows on waste ground to the south-east of Roncombe Gate, part of the Broad Down round barrow cemetery and visible as an earthwork mound on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016.

Round barrow on Broad Down, north of Southleigh Road. Part of southern section of Bronze Age cemetery, extending to Farway Hill and Gittisham Hill.

Visited on 08/07/1997. One of two bowl barrows which lie close to one another on waste ground to the east of Roncombe Gate on the north-west side of the Broad Down round barrow cemetery. The westernmost barrow was 0.7 metres high with a diameter of 15.5 metres.
