Possible former field boundaries of potential medieval date are visible as earthwork ditches on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the east of Rhode Farm. The two earthwork ditches are northeast to southwest aligned, with the larger, northern ditch curvilinear in shape and measuring up to 10m in width. The earthworks broadly correspond to the historic field system and may form part of relict medieval field boundaries, although appear to have passed out of use by the time of the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48. The earthwork ditches remain visible on digital images derived from Lidar data captured between 2005 to 2012.
