Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A possible former field boundary of potential medieval date is visible as a cropmark ditch on digital infra-red images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2006, to the north of Lower Curham. The diffuse northwest to southeast aligned linear cropmark closely respects the historic field patterns and may form part of a relict medieval field boundary, but which appears to have passed out of use by the time of the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48. The possible cropmark ditch was not visible on aerial photographs or other digital images made available to the survey.
