Orchard banks of probable post-medieval to modern date are visible as a series of linear earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1966 onwards, at East Manley. The site of orchards has been completely cleared on aerial photographs of 1966, leaving a series of partial linear earthwork banks, on which the fruit trees were established, visible. The surviving northeast to southwest, northwest to southeast and east to west aligned banks occupy a combined total area of approximately 2.48 hectares of gentle northeast facing slope, within three plots depicted on historic mapping on the north, northeast and southwest sides of East Manley farm. The orchard banks remain partly visible as a series of earthwork banks on digital images derived from Lidar data captured between 2005 and 2010.
