Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Farmstead shown on 19th century Tithe Map. The Apportionment lists the southern group of buildings as 'West Upperton' with Field Numbers 396 and 397 as 'Farmhouse and Yard' and 'Garden'. The northern group of buildings are listed in the Apportionment as 'South or Gregory's Upperton' with Field Number 428 as 'Linhay and Yard'. The two units are owned and occupied by the same family.

Upperton farmstead shown on 19th century map as two groups of buildings. The western group includes five separate buildings and an irregular shaped yard. The north-eastern group includes a U-shaped range around an irregular shaped yard with small buildings to the east and south. A well is shown as 'W' to the south of the north-eastern group.
