Rapid deterionation of inshore wrecks is most evidence in the swift deterioration of MV Kaaksburg, a relatively recent wreck (1981), which is visible along the shoreline of Lundy's east coast.
The bow section is visible from a boat off the east coast. It is reported that the stern section sank in deeper water.
