A possible water meadow of probable 19th century date is visible as a series of earthwork ditches on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the southwest of Pool Anthony. The system occupies an area of approximately 0.41 hectares of fairly level ground on the southern side of Alsa Brook. It is visible as a series of short and fragmented linear and curvilinear earthwork ditches possibly fed by the brook further upstream. It is largely unclear how this system may have operated, or what components may have simply acted as land drainage. The earthwork ditches remain partly visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2010.
