Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A possible former field boundary of potential medieval date is visible as a cropmark bank on aerial photographs of 1947 and on 1999, to the southwest of Hartnoll Farm. The linear northwest to southeast aligned cropmark closely respects the historic field patterns of medieval enclosures based on strip fields and depicted on the Tiverton parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48, although the former boundary appears to have passed out of use by this time. The cropmark bank is possibly visible on aerial photographs of 1999, although appears to be heavily plough-spread.
