Earthwork orchard banks were visible to the south of Silverton Park Farm on digital images derived from lidar data. The banks, probably made to facilitate drainage, fell within the area of a formerly larger orchard potentially of post medieval date, as depicted on the first Edition Ordnance Survey map of the late 19th century. The orchard remained planted into the 1940s and had been somewhat thinned by the 1960s. Orchard planting had been cleared and only a few trees were left in place by 1989.
