The site of the orchard is listed as such on the Tiverton parish tithe apportionment of approximately 1838-48.

Orchard banks of probable post-medieval to modern date are visible as a series of linear earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, at the former dwelling of Cowley Moor House, Tiverton. The site of the orchard is listed as such on the Tiverton parish tithe apportionment of approximately 1838-48 and remains in use on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey map of approximately 1904-06. Aerial photographs of 1947, however, show that the orchard trees have been completely grubbed up, leaving a series of linear northwest to southeast aligned earthwork banks, upon which the fruit trees were established, visible. The earthwork banks occupy an area of approximately 0.31 hectares of fairly level land, within a single rectilinear shaped plot depicted on historical mapping. The orchard banks remain visible as a series of earthworks on aerial photographs up until 1984, although by 1994, the site has been completely levelled and developed for residential housing.
