Cropmark ditches of potential prehistoric date are visible on specialist oblique aerial photographs of 1989, on Lower Moor. The northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast aligned cropmarks appear to form part of a possible rectilinear enclosure or field system, with a well-defined corner defining its northern extent. The cropmark ditch is possibly visible as a linear anomaly identified during a geophysical survey carried out in 2009. The cropmark ditches are located within an area where extensive prehistoric remains, including a ring ditch and artefact scatters, have been recorded.
