rthy shown on 19th century Tithe Map as a group of buildings around a triangular shaped yard. The Apportionment for 'Colesway or Colesworthy' lists Field Number 693 as 'Farm House & c' and Field Number 694 as 'Garden'.

Colesworthy was mentioned as 'Chauelesweye' and 'Cawlesweye' in circa 1200, as 'Caulesweye in 1330 and 1333, as 'Coleswey' in 1566 and 'Colswaye in 1726. The 'worthy' is apparently a quite recent corruption.
