The cropmark ditches are not depicted on the Tiverton parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48.

Cropmark ditches of uncertain date are visible on specialist oblique aerial photographs of 1989, to the northwest of Craze Lowman. The partial linear and curvilinear cropmarks are located in close proximity to a prehistoric to Romano-British cropmark enclosure located approximately 96m to the east and may form part of a broadly contemporary feature, perhaps the remains of an associated field system. The ditches may also, however, represent the remains of a later field system of possible medieval or post-medieval date but which passed out of use by the time of the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48. The cropmark ditches were not clearly visible on other aerial photographs viewed as part of this survey.
