A possible ring ditch is visible as cropmark.

Two possible ring ditches were visible as cropmarks in the field to south of Waterleat House. Several other ring ditches are also visible in the vicinity.

A possible ring ditch was visible on aerial photographs as a cropmark to the south-east of Waterleat House. Several cropmark ring ditches, probably evidence of barrows of Bronze Age date, are visible on the gentle slopes to the south-east. It is therefore possible that this cropmark is evidence of a funerary monument of similar date.
However, this cropmark is relatively faint, incomplete, somewhat irregular in plan and has not been recorded from any other aerial photographs available to the survey. It therefore seems likley that it is not archaeological in origin. It was previously recorded with MDV79088.
