Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1989, OS/89162, OS/89162 V 711-712 08-MAY-1989 (Aerial Photograph). SDV356894.
Linear cropmarks are visible.

Less well defined cropmarks, indicative of waterlogged soils, are visible.

A possible enclosure is visible on aerial photographs as a cropmark to the south-east of Lower Hayne, on the north bank of the River Culm. The date and function of the possible enclosure is unknown. The cropmark is less than 200 metres from the river although a railway line separates the two, and it is possible the visible features are drains associated with the improvement of agricultural land.
