A curvilinear earthwork ditch, circa 2.5 metres wide, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2010. It fits into the field system and could have formed over the remains of a field boundary bank of medieval date. Aerial photographs taken in 1947 show different landuse on each side of this feature, and it seems to have served as a boundary during the 20th century. No field boundary is depicted in this location on the historic mapping, and any boundary here would therefore appear to have passed out of use prior to the mid-19th century, although it is possible that it post-dates the early 20th century.
