Gent, T., 1997, WBB Rivers Teign and Bovey Diversion and Tipping Area: Statement of Archaeological Significance, 1, 7 (Report - non-specific). SDV286221.

Leat running from a weir to join the River Bovey just upstream of its confluence with the Teign. It was in use before 1801-04. A deed of 1713 suggests that it provided water for a mill that was old, or had already been abandoned, by this date.
