Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 2 to 3 metres wide, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2010. Their alignment is roughly cross-contour and they are interpreted as banks for fruit tree planting, which are likely to be post-medieval or 19th century in date. They are less pronounced than other nearby orchard banks (MDV108752; MDV108748), which probably explains why they are not visible on earlier available aerial photographs. The field was not depicted as orchard on the late-19th century mapping, indicating that the trees had been removed by this point, and subsequent cultivation is likely to have reduced the height of the banks further. However slight earthworks are likely to survive.
