A broad earthwork hollow or ditch is visible.

A probable hollow way or road is visible on images derived from lidar data as an west to east oriented earthwork ditch to the north of Columbjohn. Approximately 11 metres wide and 60 metres long, the earthwork corresponds approximately with a former road depicted on the Tithe Map for Broadclyst, providing access to Columbjohn Mill.
