Orchard banks of probable post-medieval to modern date are visible as a series of linear earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, at Willand. The site of the orchard is listed as Willand Orchard on the Willand parish tithe apportionment of approximately 1838-48. Aerial photographs of 1947 show that the orchard trees remain largely intact, although a series of northwest to southeast aligned earthwork banks are visible. The banks occupy an area of approximately 0.91 hectares of fairly level land within a single rectilinear shaped plot depicted on historical mapping. Aerial photographs of 1966 show the orchard has been largely levelled and developed for residential housing, although partial earthworks remain visible at the western extent of the site. These remaining earthworks have been completely levelled by 1977.
