Earthwork banks of probable post-medieval to modern date are visible on aerial photographs of 1966 onwards, to the southwest of Lake Farm. The parallel and linear earthworks are northeast to southwest aligned and occupy an area of approximately 1.26 hectares of fairly level land. The earthworks likely represent evidence of a former orchard or an area of improvement ridge and furrow to help facilitate agricultural improvement and drainage. The earthwork banks remain visible as a series of earthwork banks on digital images derived from Lidar data captured between 2005 and 2010.
