Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 4 metres wide and aligned broadly cross-contour, are visible on aerial photographs taken between 1947 and 1967. The field is depicted as orchard on the late-19th century mapping, and the ridges are interpreted as banks for fruit tree planting, which are likely to be post-medieval or 19th century in date and possibly associated with the nearby Ford Farm. The ground surface is largely obscured by the tree canopy on the aerial photographs so the individual banks have not been transcribed. No earthworks are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2010, suggesting that they have been levelled.
