Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 4 metres wide and aligned broadly cross-contour, are visible on aerial photographs taken between 1947 and 1982. The field is depicted as orchard on the late-19th century mapping, and the ridges are interpreted as banks for fruit tree planting, which are likely to be post-medieval or 19th century in date. No earthworks are visible on the available aerial photographs taken from 1989 onwards, suggesting that they had been levelled during the 1980s.
