A possible pit or quarry is shown within the far southwest corner of plot 13 on the Axmouth Tithe Map.

A possible pit or quarry is shown within the far southwest corner of plot 13 on the Axmouth Tithe Map of 1842, adjacent to the road. The plot is recorded as 'Higher Bosshill Meadow' within the Axmouth Tithe Apportionment. The feature is not present on either the First or Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps.
