Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Maps and Apportionments (Website). SDV349463.

A small sub-circular feature is shown within the eastern corner of plot 160 on the Axmouth Tithe Map.

Two features individually labelled as 'Old Quarry' are illustrated on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map. They are also illustrated on the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map, but the label now reads 'Old Quarries.' This coincides with the location of a small sub-circular feature shown within the eastern corner of plot 160 on the Axmouth Tithe Map. The quarries are not present on the Ordnance Survey Master Map.
