Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2013-2014, South Devon Coast Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV351146.

The remains of a possible former cairn of later prehistoric date are visible on aerial photographs of 2001 and images derived from Lidar data acquired from 2006 to 2007 as a narrow earthwork bank defining an oval hollow, overlooking the coast above Littlecombe Shoot. The earthwork bank or rim measures up to approximately 1.7 metres in width, and surrounds a central hollow, probably evidence of the robbing of the core of the former cairn, circa 15 metres by 8 metres in diameter.
