An 'Old Quarry' is illustrated and labelled on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map near the southern boundary of a field to the southeast of Shearing Ground Coppice. The quarry is also illustrated on the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map, but is no longer labelled. The quarry is not present on the Ordnance Survey Master Map.
