A pale complex probable soilmark is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1989, and part is visible as a dark cropmark on aerial photographs taken in 2010. The complex appears to be roughly ladder-shaped, with two parallel linears aligned approximately east to west linked by three linears aligned approximately north to south, at irregular intervals. The probable soilmarks have what appear to be dark drag marks from cultivation across them on the 1989 aerial photographs, suggesting that they could be the remains of levelled banks that had been impacted by the plough. In the 2010 photographs only one of the east-west linears is clearly visible, as a dark cropmark. It superficially resembles a field system of Iron Age or Roman date, but further investigation would be necessary to ascertain its date and character.
