A group of three 'Cottages and Gardens' are illustrated and recorded on the 1842 Holbeton tithe map and apportionment of approximately 1838-48, at Carswell Tor Cottage. The buildings are also visible on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s, although by the time of the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between 1904-06, only a single building survives.

The buildings are also visible on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s.

The buildings are no longer visible on the Ordnance Survey 2015 Master Map.
