The plot is recorded as 'Burrow Park.'

Plot 18 on the Brixton Tithe Map of 1839 is recorded as 'Burrow Park,' in arable use, within the Tithe Apportionment. The plot is also recorded as 'Burrow Park' on an earlier estate map of the Manor of Spriddlestone (1785). It is possible that this name refers to a barrow, although nothing is illustrated nearby on either the Tithe Map or the First or Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps (c.1880s and 1904-6).
