Plot 103 is recorded as 'Great Crosspark' within the Brixton Tithe Apportionment.

Plot 103 on the Brixton Tithe Map of 1839 is recorded as 'Great Crosspark' within the Tithe Apportionment. Another field, located a short distance to the south-west is recorded as 'Little Crosspark' (plot 104). Both plots are situated near a crossroad to the north-west of Spriddlestone. The name may refer to the road junction, but may also indicate that a cross once stood within the vicinity.
